How to add the next/ forward buttons to a block? And how to remove the comment number badges?

If you want to have this type of pagination you have to set it from the panel, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/yarhMdDS and if you want to remove the comment badges you have to set it from Theme panel -> http://screencast.com/t/BCTYZfou
