The theme can be used on a single end product according to the envato standard license: https://themeforest.net/licenses/standard
As for the underline, I think you are referring to the widget title. The elements used in the stay connected section is a text with title element: https://www.screencast.com/t/Wo9GzQiCT and a facebook plugin shortcode inside the element

Well that’s the point. The option is not available in the newsmag theme. The newsmag theme has a different implementation of the titles. The one you want is part of the newspaper theme which is not = to newsmag.
