Hello,
This depends on how you implement the social counter. If you implement it in visual composer on a split row like so: http://screencast.com/t/XaqWUM24Lx1X you can use the adbox element in visual composer. You can use it as any other visual composer element and position it the way you like.
If you implement the social counter on a sidebar, again you can select the adbox in the widgets area as well: http://screencast.com/t/hytUBadNWk
