I’m having trouble getting the image size to change in posts. After the image is embedded I’m changing the image size and it gets small in the editor but then when I update the post the image is full size again… Am I missing something?

And the changes are reflcted on the front-end as well. if you use a caching plugin however, you must clear the cache in order to see the end result.

Hmmm, yes these images embedded in posts are exactly what I’m referring to and that is how I’m resizing them but the changes aren’t showing on the front end… It seems to be defaulting back to the ‘large’ size.
Also, I currently have the caching plugin turned off so that shouldn’t be an issue.

it just occurred to me that it may be an issue with using the ‘smartlist’ function?

If you use a smart list, then you cannot re-size images. Each smart list has fixed image sizes for each specific smart list style.
