Just a note to people trying to change the ‘Trending Now’ title of the News Ticker.
I found I couldn’t change the title through the Translations panel as the field seemed un-editable. When I clicked in the relating field I couldn’t type anything. In the end I managed to type the words I wanted i.e.’Breaking News’ into a notepad file, select it, copy it and paste it into the translation field in Theme Panel and it worked, click Save Settings.

The option works just fine on our end. We cannot see the issue you present. The field works as expected. You might have a plugin conflict going on that prevents the proper functionality of the theme. You might discover other fields that will not work properly in this case.
