How to change # of images/layout of megamenu?

The example MegaMenu with subcategories has a flyout menu with a submenu and 4 images lined up nicely in a row. What I have is 5 images, and the submenu bumped down to the next row, and the menu looking jumbled and unnecessarily huge. I’ve searched the docs but can’t seem to find similar issues, surprisingly.

Does anyone know how to adjust the appearance of Mega Menu?

Thanks for the tip. The docs aren’t clear to me, although I understood I couldn’t make a submenu a mega menu, I didn’t know you couldn’t have submenus at all of mega menus.
