Hello i bought the newspaper theme and love it but running into issue with the way google displays the url in the search engines.
For example from the demo content the google displayed this
Modern Language Wars, PHP vs Python vs Ruby | Lifestyle 3D Plus
http://www.mywebsite.com › Streaming › Amazon Prime
Mar 4, 2017 – The model is talking about booking her latest gig, modeling WordPress underwear in the brand latest Perfectly Fit campaign, which was shot
Instead of “www.mywebsite.com › Streaming › Amazon Prime” i would like for google to show the real domain address
http://www.mywebsite.com/2017/03/04/modern-language-wars-php-vs-python-vs-ruby/
This is happening with the posts i did … it shows the catagories instead of the website address in google search engine?
Any idea how to fix it?
Hi,
I don’t understand exactly what you are asking. It would be helpful if you could describe the steps you are taking and what exactly you want to achieve. You can control this in some measure using the Yoast SEO plugin

Thanks
It is how the site is showing up in google for blog posts.
Normally on google the site shows like this
1) Title of the post/page
2) url of post/page
3) Meta description
With Yoast you can change 1 and 3 …. but i dont think you can change 2) which is the URL and that looks different then the real URL….
For some reason on your theme the URL in google is showing up different then it really is…it show as
http://www.mywebsite.com › Streaming › Amazon Prime
Instead of
http://www.mywebsite.com/2017/03/04/modern-language-wars-php-vs-python-vs-ruby/
which is the exact URL
I never had that happen before…. Streaming and Amazon Prime is the catagories for the post but they are not in URL so i am not sure why that is showing up as URL
The only way to not have ‘breadcrumbs’ in SERPS, is to *not* use the breadcrumbs feature on post pages.
“Best practice” in SERPS is to show relational content stream via breadcrumbs, however you can try disabling breadcrumbs, resubmit sitemaps, wait a bit and they should return to showing only the URL to the post in lieu of the breadcrumb trail.
