I’m trying to clarify something. We want to make a few basic pages like “About” and “Contact” and regular stuff like that. We used to be able to do using the regular editor. Also could choose which sidebar in earlier versions. Now using 8.8.2 on a new site.
Now it appears that you HAVE to use the TagDiv pagebuilder for all pages? Is that correct? But there does not appear to be a basic editor in the pagebuilder where you can add your own content using the WP editor. It does seem that we can enter text and other stuff in the regular WP editor on a new page, but it does not allow us to choose a sidebar. Under the editor where you would normally choose the sidebar, it says:
“While using a pagebuilder sidebar settings are not available. To add a sidebar on page use the widgetised sidebar block.”
Of course, this is a page where we are NOT using the pagebuilder to create the page. Can anyone clarify this for us? Thanks much…

We are aware of that issue, it seems to happen when our Cloud library plugin is active. It will be fixed as soon as possible.
But note that you can create pages with the tagDiv composer just like with the regular WordPress editor. There are many elements to choose from. For example text elements which use the same editor

The column text for example has color settings, as well as font settings which will apply for that specific element. So you can create text sections even better than with the regular editor, with these additional settings.
