I want only a few categories to be displayed in that block but it is showing all the categories.

just noticed that the posts were filtered from the selected categories, but next to the “MOST POPULAR Title” all the Categories were displaying. I want those categories to be replaced with the selected categories(in my case 41,47,42,45,46)

The ajax filter is different from the “filter”
Please read the block settings guide. I know it’s big but find the section you are interested in: AJAX FILTER is the one you are looking for.
