I’m trying to disable all unnecessary thumbnails and I’ve reduced them down to 6, which is good. However, there is one more generated – 768×512 – which is not listed in the Theme Panel options. I have only TD Composer installed.
Is the theme generating this 768px thumbnail and, if so, what is it used for and how to disable it?

I don’t understand. Are you saying that 768×512 is generated by the theme and can be removed by a third-party plugin (mentioned in that topic), or that it is not generated by the theme?
Because, as I said, it’s not listed in the Theme Panel and as there are no other plugins running and WP default thumbnails disabled I don’t know what’s creating it.

Our theme do not generate thumbs with that size 768×512 , maybe that is the default size of your media image.
Please provide a link were I can inspect the problem ( were are thumbs with this size ).
