It is the 3rd or 4th time the automatic update broke our website, forcing the website to display a bunch of short-code instead. The case gets worse when Cloudflare grab the cache
Why? Because when the theme update itself, it doesn’t update the dependency plugins, the tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Library in fact they were apparently disabled due to incompatibility with the updated theme version.
I think this same issue affected this thread
How do I disable the automatic update, at least to save myself and the site from embarrassment?
Thanks

Hello,
It is possible that the theme and plugins update automatically, but the option is not set in the theme, the option is provided by your host, so you need to ask your host if the auto-update option is enabled or you have set.
Also, please check this article https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-disable-automatic-updates-in-wordpress/
Thank you!
Hello @goodmuyis!
If you need these customizations, then you can contact our custom work team here and they can help you to achieve what you need: https://tagdiv.com/premium-customization-services/
Thank you!
@Bettina your suggestion is not a good one tbh, because I should not be hiring your dev for a feature that is generally needed by all users.

It should have been better to say we’ll pass this to our developer team to look into.
And of course, I can code it myself and I’ve done it before, it is just a matter of time to study how tagDiv handles the auto-update in the code. But I should not be hacking in the core theme functionality especially when is it embedded in a required plugin.
Hello @goodmuyis!
I understand that is a need and we will take in consideration your query for the future.
It is necessary that our plugins also get updated with the theme because otherwise the theme can break because it depends on some of our plugins.
Thank you for understanding!
