How to display category pull down filters in category page?????
$buffy= $this->get_pull_down_filter(); //get the sub category filter for this block

Hi,
The filter you mention will work only for blocks (not big grids), where it allows to display categories (or other elements) to filter the block dynamically.
Adding it to the category page will do nothing. There might be more options added for the category pages over future updates.
At the moment category page settings can only be made in the theme panel
