How to edit and change the cover image on home page

Hello there,

I am using the demo theme in Newspaper called: nature love and I accidentally clicked something when editing the layout and features of the main cover image at the top of the home page. Now, I can’t seem to edit the image (change it to something else) and an ugly light grey border is now displaying on the top menu bar above the cover image. I wish for it to look exactly like the original demo theme, how the menu displays over the cover image. Not sure what I did – any assistance you can provide, would be most grateful.
I look forward to your response.

Bec.

Hello,

Please edit the page, and select the template on the pagebuilder+Overlay menu => https://i.imgur.com/HcOLjQA.png, and after editing with tagDiv Composer, select the row and you can set the image in the tab called CSS => https://i.imgur.com/ilKQ9cG.jpg

Hope this help you!

Thank you!

Hello,

Thank you so much for this.

I followed your steps, but something is still wrong.

Is there a way to send across screen captures to you so you can see what I mean. Alternatively,I am happy to send you my access to the backend and you can log in and take a look.

I feel like a border of some sorts on overlays imagery has been selected somewhere by accident and now I don’t know how to revert it back to the original settings. Even after following your steps. It did nothing for the layout of the image. It stayed the same.

Regards, Rebecca.

Hello,

A solution for sending a screenshot/video is this:
Download, capture, send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link, paste it here.
Also, after watching the video or screenshots to see what settings aren’t working, we’ll see what to do.
Also, if you agree please send the link to your website.

Thank you!

Hi there,

The screenshot thing didn’t work, so I thought I would just send across my access for you, so you can checkout the home page for yourself and see if you can work out the problems I am having.

Here is the link to the demo site:

And here are the log in details:

Warmest, Rebecca.

Hi rlwilkinson80,
All that you need to do is to set an image with big size, the one that you set it right now is small and has some transparent margins -> https://i.imgur.com/djoXKOK.jpg, set for example one like this one -> https://i.imgur.com/365NIja.jpg this has 852 height px and it will looks like this -> https://i.imgur.com/jXNqC6L.jpg
I hope this will help you!
Also, please do not share your privet credentials here on the forum, this is accessible for all members.
Thank you!

Oh whoops! I thought it was a private conversation. Thank you so much for fixing the issue. I wasn’t able to even change the image which was super strange. The one you have chosen is fabulous. Appreciate it. I will let you know if I encounter any further issues.

Hello,

I am reconnecting again with you about the same issue I seem to be encountering again (as previous conversations). I am using the Homepage – Nature Love design for my draft site design, which us not yet live. And for some reason when I click into the page to edit using Tag Div, and use the editing menu bar on the left under CSS where I would normally edit the cover – feature image at the top of the page, the feature is gone and I am unable to change the current image to something else.

As I am working off a drafting site, if you need to take a look and see what I am referring to, I will need to send across my log in details so you can access.

Let me know.

Regards, Rebecca.
