How to edit Big Slider and Big Slider Background

Hi there,

I want to be able to set timer for the Big Slider to switch between posts also I want to make the background static for the background of the Big Slider. If anyone of you is confused I am talking about the Home Page template that has background + articles. I have looked into this but its not really clear what to change or add page-homepage-slider.php (parts/page-homepage-slider.php).

Please add ,'autoplay' => '2' in page-homepage-slider.php like this: http://screencast.com/t/oF5riVtbZDdx 2 represents the number of seconds.
To make the background static remove this code: http://screencast.com/t/OMLwe34JChes
