How to enable gifs for sidebar

Hi,

I would like to display gifs within posts and sidebars, but they are not displayed as gifs but as images.
How can I fix this?

Hi,

Please read this guide to properly insert and display gifs in the post content

In the sidebar try to simply paste the embed code for the gif, inside a text element.
