Hi,

This element has a Tab option that allows you to counter the tracking for this button element (call to action). First of all, you should have your own Google Analytics code which has to be added in the special section from the Theme panel here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/oBxyGuWKb5 and then you should create these settings (Event Action, Event Category or Event Label) depending on what kind of information you want to get from this button. You need to check the Google Analytics documentation from here -> https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/analyticsjs/events in order to create this setting. Also, you can watch the following YouTube video -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqDEuTLVraA which can help you a lot for a well understanding.

Thanks for the message!

Hi, I’ve added GTM code to the theme, and created event in button properties. How I can see this event in GA? I not see it not in variables nor in data layer in GTM, so it’s not passed to GA.

GA tracking

Thanks

Hello @pbc!

You do not need those fields. For example, you can set as a reference a link from that button: https://prnt.sc/yUnq08TpyzgR
Check all about GA4 here: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/10089681?hl=en&ref_topic=12154439,12153943,2986333,&sjid=1284446987191351262-EU&visit_id=638224294995165191-2052111418&rd=1

Thank you!
