I would like to have two articles on the same page coming from two diferent categories. how can i do this.
here is an example. i want on this link to have the short content showing and then underneath i would like another article from a different article to appear in full

so what i am trying to do is as follows. I want to be able to have that short article appear on that link, and then i would like another article to appear in full. I want the latest article to appear on the post page. is this possible

Unfortunately, you can’t have two different posts on a single template. But you can add any post with a flex block, for example, and when you click on the article title, it will lead you to the single template of that article with its content.

are there any plans to do this. Lots of themes do have this where you can have the main article and then underneath you have another article. at the moment i have this which looks very bad. i am using the flox but it does not show the paragraph spaces.

The flex block can show only the excerpt. Another workaround there could be to use a module template that can be built custom and displayed with the help of an element called Flex Block Builder: https://forum.tagdiv.com/modules-builder-newspaper-theme/.
