How to i save my custom css codes in child theme ?

When i updated. I lost my custom css codes. How to i save it with child theme ?

Hi,

Code entered in the theme panel dedicated sections should not be lost after a theme update. The theme panel custom code sections together with the child theme are considered safe ways to customize the theme.
A child theme is provided in the theme package, here is a guide
