how to make category background image transparent like global category style 6

Hi,

I’d like to edit my category template similar to global category style 6 with a transparent top, as in this picture https://www.screencast.com/t/sZlLhqRH

I imported from cloud library category template 6, but I didn’t manage to figure out the settings, what I get is this: see here https://www.screencast.com/t/Rge59OuqhN

my question is:
1. now it is showing a complete copy of background image, how do make it a transparent window?
2. I have set the row width to 1200, how do I make the white side borders disappear

I found a mobile phone view layout problem with big grid flex 9, I think it’s a bug, this is the phone view of big grid flex 9, as in this image https://www.screencast.com/t/pRC51SAmj2BN

I tried it on a fresh new wordpress install, there’s no plugin conflict or anything. How do I correct this layout? thanks!

I’m running a localhost at the moment, plus I think this is a easy to generate problem, and does not require a remote login.

Thanks Vlad, I figured out. It’s very weird, but if I deleted the demo grid and add new, it shows correct layout, but if I just simply change the default demo grid to flex 9, it shows problem.

It’s all sorted out, there’s no more problem, I was just sharing my findings, thanks again.
