I want the mobile menu to kick in earlier (say for screen widths under 1200 pixels).
How do I do that?

Thanks

Is there a trick to getting replies from support?

I see that other people get an answer although they’ve posted after me.

What do I need to do?

Thanks 🙂

Hello,

There is no trick. You simply post one question and wait for the answer. We answer from oldest to newest. If you post multiple replies in the same topic it will be moved to fresher posts and delay the answer.
Unfortunately there is no simple way of making the mobile menu kick in earlier. You can try a search and replace through the thee files and replace the 767 px which is the trigger for the mobile theme and change it with a bigger value, but you will have to be careful for each case in particular to not break the code.

Thank you!

Thanks, Bogdan.

I was also wondering if one can change the menu’s font and font size?

Is that OK to ask here or should I open a new thread?

Thanks

Hello Kev,

You should check the Theme panel -> Theme Fonts from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/H5bkCwxl

Thanks for the message!

Hi Catalin,

Thank you for your response.

Is there a way to decrease the menu font size when the width of the browser goes past a certain threshold?

What I’m asking is much like what you’ve already done in your News Week demo. The menu font size decreases when the browser width is decreased.

Hello kev,

Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option. Notice that the theme has a default configuration for responsive but if you want to change it for your header menu items you should do it yourself through some custom CSS code.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi Catalin,

Please check this demo that you’ve made. The menu font size decreases when you decrease browser window size.

In addition, block font sized decrease too.

I wonder how you did that because I’ve used the same demo and front page and just made some slight modifications but the menu font size and block font sizes don’t change anymore.

Best,
Kev

Hi,

You could do that with CSS. The theme panel contains Advanced CSS sections that can be used in this case. Example for the header menu decreasing font size per device width
https://www.screencast.com/t/5PxorZVd
The general font setting is not per device, it is general. This would be a solution that you could try. This is the code used in the example, use values as you wish

#td-header-menu .sf-menu > li > a {
font-size: 14px;
}

Thanks
