When the Big-Grid-1 element is added into a site, and this BG1 is configured to display
– posts from a specific category
with
– the filter Sort Order: “Latest”
(provided there’s no “Offset posts” value added) posts added to this category are “rotating” and displayed
– first in the MX5 module (the biggest window) of the BG1
then, when a newer post is added to this category, moved to
– upper-left window / corner of MX6 module of the BG1
then, when another new post is added to this category, moved to
– upper-right window / corner of MX6 module of the BG1
and so on.
Now, in case a designer would like to keep some specific post of their choice in the MX5 module window (the biggest window) of this BG1 “static”, meaning this post:
– is to continously stay in the MX5 module window (the biggest window) of the BG1
– its position / location would not be affected by new posts added to the filtered category for this BG1
– this single post could even belong to some different category, then the category filtered out for this BG1
– posts added to the filtered (in this BG1) category would be “rotating between” the MX6 module windows of the BG1 without being added to MX5 initially
how to achieve that? [See graphical representation of the issue]
Similar question applies to other elements / windows of BG1, i.e. how to keep some post “static” in eg.
– upper-left window / corner of MX6 module of the BG1
– lower-right window / corner of MX6 module of the BG1
and so on
or
more than one (eg. two) posts of designer’s choice being “static” in BG1 in the chosen “windows” of BG1.
