Do you mean adsense HEAD code? if yes use footer and header inserter.

That could be done by entering the verification code manually in the theme header file, between the head tags (it can be done in a child theme as well)

There is also a section in the theme panel which will output the code in the header

Enter the code there, it will not be lost once entered, not even after updating the theme.
