How to remove category link from single page?

I want to remove the part with red border and make my article closer to top. Can you help me please?

.post .meta-info {
    display: none;
}

Sorry to mix, but this is a very bad solution.

To use display:none for something like this might be the easiest answer to give but a very bad one. I have been purchasing themes and templates for years and no proper premium theme/even open source theme support gives such a website ruining answer.

The proper way to do it, is for you to tell us where to edit the php that is generating the html.

You should basicly comment these //

from $buffy .= '<div class="meta-info">';

to $buffy .= '</div>';

I do not know php that well, and I am also unfamiliar with this theme.
But by searching for meta-info using notepad++ search in files, I was able to find it appears in
