I accidentally forgot to uncheck the box for don’t install the content when installing a demo. I’ve uninstalled the demo, then reinstalled making sure to turn off the content box – but the demo content is still there.
I’ve deleted all the posts – and now I have to do the images – but is there any automated way to just remove the demo content with having to do it manually?
Thanks,
Their demo content got sent out through my RSS feed – so I tweeted the demo posts, which have nothing to do with the topic of my site! The demo tags caused permalink conflicts that took me hours to figure out.
So far…this has turned into a major issue that shouldn’t have been. So an answer on how to delete ALL DEMO content would be great.
Hello nycinsider,
Please notice that the single automatic way to get rid out of your demo content is to uninstall it and then you will have to install it but without content. Please notice that when you uninstall a demo, all of the data will be removed from the database with all content. Also, please do not forget to clear all your caches if you are using a caching plugin. I have tested on my side and works as properly. Also, if you do not want this method, you will have to remove them manually.
Thanks for your understanding!
I’m pretty sure you just repeated back to me what I said I did – that DIDN’T work. No caching.
So, please outline every single step to removing it manually. Every post, category, tag, image, and whatever else is installed with the travel guide demo.
Hello nycinsider,
Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Also, please ensure that you do not have caching…check your server in this regard and also, please try to purge your CDEN files if you are using the CDN sistem. Please notice that we have tested the uninstall button and this works as expected. So, if your problem is still there after this advice, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect your setup page. Also, please provide the link of this topic so we can know who you are and what the issue is.
Thanks for your understanding!
