OMG… THANK YOU!! I tried EVERY possible way, but when you mentioned that you have to drag from the text “ROW” and drop it to the delete box – it worked..
This is driving me crazy. Why can’t you just do it the way it is done in WPBakery? Try to drag it on your laptop using touch-pad!

Yes, you can do it using the touch-pad, but i do not think that a mouse is so expensive, also there are more ways to delete an element, you can even use the right click to delete an element.

When u dont have button, just drag and drop an image to the row…then u can delete

I cannot delete empty inner column. When I click right to delete button is cannot be clickable, so ı cannot click that.

Usually when the click right is not working you need to make sure if you are using a Newspaper version over the v10 and make sure that you do not have a problem with untested plugins.

Had to read through this entire post and replies to find out how to remove the “Empty Column” Scott had posted that you specifically had to click on the word “row” then press delete. This worked. Before I was manually editing in the text editor and deleting the shortcode for it.

I tried to delete the empty column by right-clicking however the function wasn’t working and the system status seems fine.

Hi femfem, most of the times when the right click is not working is because there are some plugins that are overwrite the theme settings and functions.
What you can do is to select the element/ row (you can not delete an empty column only the entire row), then press the delete button -> https://i.imgur.com/4tBgnSm.png or use the drag and drop option -> https://i.imgur.com/bd0ytnW.jpg

ScottLehane, nice one. You hit the nail. Just click (left click) on the row element or empty column, then right click the word “Row” in the little square box, in the context menu, the “Delete” option is enabled, and click that to delete it.

Hi there, I also am getting the same issue. But i have tried everything mentioned above. Looks like that code made some issues, so using this code to hide that section which i showed in the video above.
Here is the cusotom css i tried, in case if anyone else is also getting the same issue.

That is because you have an inner row, Please right click on the inner row element and that inner column will be removed too.
