1. That has no save button, once it is closed the content will be saved automatically.
2. You will have to activate the thumbs from Theme Panel – Block Settings – Thumbs on Modules/Blocks and activate this 2: https://i.imgur.com/kkS9Lzt.png

I tried, after closing content deleted automatically.
Tried many times same issue I’m facing.
One more help I need, is it good idea using elementor page builder along with newspaper theme?
