How to set the meta description for homepage?

Hi,

Please tell me how I can set the meta description for the homepage of this website: r3media.ro, without using a special plugin.

Hello,

Please check this guide https://www.hostpapa.com/knowledgebase/add-meta-tags-website/ the code needs to be set between head tags, this can be put in our theme in Theme Panel -> Analytics/Js Codes -> https://prnt.sc/10jk7fq

Thank you Anamaria,

If I do as you said, I will have the same meta description tag on all pages. I only want it for the first page, the rest of the pages already have the correct meta description generated by the theme. Can I put a condition in Analytics/Js Codes to apply only on the first page?

This can be done only if you use a plugin for seo.
