how to show cart icon near to menu bar in woo commerce.
this was visible in older version of newspaper.

Hello,

You can add a Custom Link to your menu item and add the HTML for the cart icon: http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/icon/shopping-cart/
You will have to use the font awesome 4 menus plugin.

Hi,

This is not working, I did add the custom url code, it its not coming. i AM USING NEWSPAPER FROM ALST 3-4 YEARS .. IN EARLIER VERSION, THIS THEME was nicely integrated with woocommerce. Under menu section, there was an option to use icons instead of named menu, and that icon menu was special. when you add any item into cart, it used to show number of items in cart. next to cart menu.

Hi,

Sorry but the old implementation will not work anymore because of the woocommerce changes.
If you require a different type of functionality you can give plugins a shot, something like https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-menu-bar-cart/
