I found that my Newspaper theme auto generate 22+ image size for each image that i was uploaded to the website.

I know that theme need create all thumb size of image for fast loading, but that happen on all content image (Not only featured image). This make my hosting space down very fast.
Does i have any wrong? Or have any way to stop it?
I want it only add_image_size for only featured image, not on other image i have using for content only.

To be more clear, in Theme panel, section thumbs, you’ll see and description for all the thumbs on what element will apply, if you consider that you’ll use that thumb you enable it, if not you can disable so the theme will not create that thumb -> http://prntscr.com/pyxjbv
So is your decision which dimension you choose to use -> http://prntscr.com/pyxk7y , using flex elements you can choose which size to display -> http://prntscr.com/pyxlpq and the format ( width and height for image ) -> http://prntscr.com/pyxne8

I know that Theme need create all thumbs size (That set on the Theme panel) for diplay many of place on the homepage and category page…
But i mean that not only happen to the “Featured image” but also to all photo that i have added to the content of the post.
EX: 1 my post have a Featured image but using 10 image post in the content
=> it create all 22×11 = 242 images stored on the Upload folder
242 images but only using 22+10 = 32 Images for all, This is a huge waste.

Does our theme have any way to clean that, or if not i suggest we should update this to the next version soon!

Hi,
Yes, the theme create thumbs for all images when these are add in media library.
What you can do is to use the Regenerate thumbnails and delete unused thumbnails plugin -> https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails-and-delete-unused/ or this one https://wordpress.org/plugins/force-regenerate-thumbnails/ there are many plugins that can do this.
Or you can add only the images for featured image using the media library and the rest of them you can upload using ftp in this way it will be upload only the original size.
