How to update theme without lose all settings

Hello there,

I have using news mag 4.7 theme at my website.
And i will like to update it to 4.9

I have chose to update my theme via FTP.

Is it possible to update theme and keep all settings?

Hi,

First please make sure that you make a full backup to your website and database after that you can make the install according to our documentation from here -> https://tagdiv.com/how-to-install-newspaper-theme/
Also the theme functionality was move in td-composer -> https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/

Hi,

I was create stagging version of my web site.
– Upload new version of theme 4.9.1 and activate it.
– Remove old TagDiv composer, and upload new one, but after i activate, this message will show up: http://prntscr.com/qrrjr4

I using last version of theme from themeforest and last version of TagDiv composer.

I cant do update on live website

The last version of the Newsmag is v4.9.2 , please make sure that you make the update as in our documentation from here ->https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/

If there is still a problem, you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.
