How to use a different sidebar ad for each post?

Hello,

I tried finding the answer on these pages but they are dead https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebar-ads/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/

Anyways. I have a default sidebar, in includes an opt in to my email and my social media links. I want to keep those.

However; on each page I want to advertise a different product below the social media and email opt in.

How would I go about doing this?

Hello,

Unfortunately just by using the theme settings you will have to use a different sidebar on each page or post where you want a different ad. Our theme ad system does not allow rotating ads. This is done through plugins though. Try the adrotate plugin for such functionality.

Thank you!

I’m not looking to “Rotate Ads” I’m looking to do this.

If I have a post about Blue Cars, I want to do an amazon native sidebar ad for Blue Cars.

I then have another post about Red Cars, I want to do an amazon native sidebar ad for Red Cars.

To do this I’d have to create a new sidebar for every page? Would that lag the theme having that many widgets?

Just on the AdRotate plugin suggestion, it won’t allow you to do that either. You would also have to have a different sidebar for each post.

There are more advanced plugins that will do it but it will turn into a management nightmare once you start getting 200-300 posts or more. I have a different sidebar for each category and even that takes a bit of time to manage changing ads.

Waste of time for Amazon anyway, their native ad system is smart enough to work out what you’re selling or writing about 90% of the time.
