Hello,

I want to ask, how to use first or any image as a thumbnail?

Because thumbnail is not a part of the article, so I want to add my first or any image as a thumbnail.

Yes, you just need to be patient for replies from other users when stuff is not related to the theme.

We use “Auto Post Thumbnail Pro” on our network, as we often have news from our mothership site being pulled into our daughter sites, and this plugin will create thumb and ‘featured image’ from the first image in the post, even if from external site.

Hope that helps. (I don’t work here.)

Well, plugin is basically a function … so, you could google functions that do that then add to your functions file. Plugin best way.

The theme does not provide such an option so it;s either a plugin or a custom modification you can try. We have no suggestion to provide unfortunately.
