How to use wordpress widgets in the sidebar on frontpages/category pages.
– I can get it to work with default widgets on all pages where the articles are readable.(subpages).

I don’t see any option to choose “Sidebar” as in your example. i can’t find anything with the name “widget” or “sidebar” in my template.

Please read my message i wrote. There are no such thing in my editor called “Sidebar” or widget”. Therefor it’s extremely hard to import something which doesn’t exsist as you can see here:

Hi Vlad thanks for the refer this is resolved.
For anyone having same problems:
“In 9.7.3 It appears to be a conflict between WP bakery and tagDiv Composer so the element Widget Sidebar cannot be added. Please update to 9.8 and the issue will be fixed. ” – Support
Is this fixed? I have 9.8 and the widget sidebar doesn’t seem to actually display the widget.
