How to use your scroll script

I noticed in your theme you have a script to scroll nicely to a certain page element.

How can I make use of this script? What css class do I have to use?

By calling it a class I believe I am not expressing myself properly.

What I need to do is when someone clicks n a certain element in a page for it to scroll nicely to a certain element on the page.

Something like this
