i would like to know how related and next/prev articles works…
will it work from same categories, tags, etc ?
can we customize it..

The related articles work like so https://forum.tagdiv.com/related-articles/ you can filter them either by the same category or the same tag.
As for the next/prev, they do not detect the category. It will bring up the next post based on the post id.
This option cannot be customized.

Can you show me the code that handles next/prev link. If it build based on wordpress core next_post_link, there is manual parameter in_same_term that i could turn on.

BTW, it would be nice if you put this handy option to the theme panel, because core modification will be wiped out on update.
