HTML Validation – Just shy of 200 errors and warnings

Hi,

I’ve purchased the Newspaper theme and when running it through an HTML validator there are 167 errors and 26 warnings.

I would never expect a theme of this caliber to be error free, but 193 errors or warnings is too many.

I just updated it and those are the results from the most recent update today.

Hello,

That test is quite strict, and it will find issues in almost every website tested, for example – https://blog.codinghorror.com/html-validation-does-it-matter/
Please test for example with other websites or themes.
This test is not considered essential, our theme and basically, most themes are not built in a strict way in order to pass the validation of that test. I believe very few themes and websites overall are built to pass the validation from that test.
