1. Hi callin, I created a page called “news” that I assigned to all the categories on my website. But I can not change the design of categories in it (Like template and style and other things.) How to change these categories designs? The page that I created to assgin is right or wrong. Please clear my doubt. I am really confused about this.
2.I want to place a widget of latest posts on all the pages including homepage in side bar. How to do that? please tell me the full process.

1. When you set a page for post page/news -> https://i.imgur.com/kJl74Bt.png then this can no longer be edited with the theme builder, like you mentioned, this will remove from that page. The layout of the blog/news can be set only form the theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/03lwL0N.png
2. If you are using the same sidebar for all pages and posts, then all you need to do is to add the widget in that sidebar, then set that sidebar as global for posts and pages.
On pages if you are using the theme builder, then you can set the block and filter using the theme builder for the latest posts, or you can add the widget element -> https://i.imgur.com/XdrffJv.jpg or you can set the sidebar and latest articles using this option -> https://i.imgur.com/pbt97aI.png

You have set there the home as homepage and the News as posts page (blog), and yes the settings are ok. but Like I said, the posts page (blog) can be edited only with the theme panel options. As an work around you can remove the news page from posts page, then adjust it with the tagDiv Composer and set it as a normal page blog in menu.
Like I said the Newsmag do not have cloud templates, so the categories can be adjusted only with the theme panel settings.
