I cannot add Google Analytics in the theme

I go to “Newspaper/Theme Panel/Analytics/JS Codes/Header Script Code/Paste Your Code Here” and I paste the same code I’ve been using on other websites. When I click “Save Settings” the theme spins and spins and never saves.

Just checked your site and I can see your using Sucuri’s CDN and security. This is the cause of the problem, if you disable the security on Sucuri’s end then add the code it will work, just be sure to enable Sucuri again.

I used to use Sucuri and had the same issue 🙂

Google Site Kit is made by Google and FREE! Great plugin to sync everything up!

Thanks Bettina, but as I mentioned in my comment I did that exact process and it will not save. It simply continues to spin the hour glass and never times out, never saves file.

B14 Thanks so much for the suggestion. I am checking with my hosting because I never installed that as a plugin and don’t know how it is on my site?

B14 So it turns out that Sucuri CDN was part of a GoDaddy package I purchased but did not continue. Even though I stopped paying for it my site was still going through their firewall so GoDaddy flipped a switch on their end and now I can paste my code as per the instructions! Hooray! Thanks for sharing that tip or I might not have figured it out!!!
