I’ve read before asking that Blocks (Don’t Miss, Techs and Gadgets, Fashion, etc) can be changed via Customization on Homepage, but when I go to Appearance > Customize > and try to edit the blocks, I only see this: http://screencast.com/t/91kziYcGTGje and the Widgets tab only shows this: http://screencast.com/t/bFxURPsNU
I am really confused and think I may be missing something here. Is the Homepage supposed to be a “Static Front Page”?
I have made a lot of changes to the theme (Translations, FB comments, and few other customizations that did not come easy to someone like me…without a techy background), so I am really afraid of losing all the work if I re-install the theme.
Please help!

If you want to use a static homepage please create it using Visual Composer plugin and set it to frontpage: http://screencast.com/t/3vO9aluSPm7v
Normally the styling options you’ve set in the WordPress Theme Customize or in the Theme Panel – those options will not be effected by updating your theme, only custom modifications to the theme’s files will be overwritten.
Please follow this guide if you want to update your theme and use FTP method: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/ also update plugins that come with the theme’s files from the /plugins folder.
