Hello,
I tried placing the Primis code into my Newspaper theme, but it doesn’t appear on the live site. Could you please let me know why this might be happening and help me resolve the issue?

Hi,
Please do not make changes to the theme files, as they will not work as you want and will be lost when the theme is updated. Additionally, it can break the theme.
If you have a code that needs to be set in the header or footer, then you can simply set the code in Newspaper > theme panel > analytics/js codes https://i.imgur.com/DdCRtRE.png
