I would like to add an email opt-in on my home page

but when I am editing the page and go to look for an email opt-in element, there seems to be one. Do I need to download something for this that is separate from the newspaper theme?

I think that you want to add en email like a newsletter, if is so then you can use tagDiv Composer and our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-newsletter-plugin/
