Icon in the mega menu

Unfortunately you cannot do this, as using a parent category megamenu, it will load automatically all subcategories, you don’t add them manually.
You can try to do this via custom css and use menu item unique class, for example – http://screencast.com/t/keJwuAwvXEG1

You cannot add the icon in the translation section as it will not work.
I guess that you want to add an icon when you are not logged in(when you are logged in the user avatar is displayed there – http://screencast.com/t/TTqq6qnBLNWE ), so you can do the same like I suggested for megamenu using custom css – http://screencast.com/t/75mVRi0FUYtB

You need to use a font awesome plugin(different than FA for menus-recommended by the theme for menu) to add icons in the post content.
