Access your article in your frontend, edit it with the TagDiv Composer, click on those elements and delete them. There is actually a recycle bin basket for every element https://www.screencast.com/t/wFYdqgpo6pT
You can hide them also from the CSS tab of the element: Display: HIDDEN.

I was referring to the bar with the title text in the slider. the bar occupies all the photo.
