Icons in the MainMenu are gone after editing page

Hello!
I saw there are topics about this problem, but unresolved, so i’m opening a new one.
The problem is like this:
Using Magazine Pro
After editing the frontpage and the single post page with the composer, icons in menu are gone. They show in composer but not in the actual page.
I left the menus unchanged, meaning the elements are using original icons from the TDC font like this <i class=”tdc-font-tdmp tdc-font-tdmp-bicycle”></i> Lifestyle
If i install the fontawesome plugin and insert icons from there, they appear in the menu, but i do not want to use them because fontawesome affects load speed.
Here comes the interesting part. The category page, which was untouched, shows the icons with no problem. All the settings in the composer are the same as in frontpage or single post page
My guess is that when pages are saved in the composer, something is left out. Maybe the tdc font itself. The composer loads the font by default, that’s why in composer there’s nothing wrong with the icons. But when the browser loads the saved page, the icons along with the font are missing, therefore nothing is displayed.

no man, is not working
i imported the header template again from the cloud. the thing is, i can modify things there and icons are in place. but if i delete the Buy now -> element, icons are gone. In fact is not about Buy now text, which you can delete from element, but if you choose to remove the arrow, then you got no icons in the menu.
I wanted to delete the upper row with everything in it so the only solution i found was to move the remaining arrow somewhere in the main menu row where you can’t see it
i know that’s lame but it’s the only solution i found that works. you need to resolve that in future updates

Hahaha! I have the same issue! And the op explained it accurately.
My problem is, how do I add another icon without installing icon plugin
I am on a shared hosting and page loading speed is higher in my priority.
I copied the code to another custom link I created for the menu and changed
the bicycle text to car and it wasn’t showing anything.

How do I get to where this tdc-font-tdmp ????

update: i got it working only by adding additional link tags to the markup to include the missing font.
