Ideal dimensions for featured images?

I notice on mobile and in certain cases on desktop browsers that the featured images I upload don’t fill out the frame they are in.

I have read through every page of the documentation, which is very well put together, but I didn’t notice any mention of a suggested dimensions for featured images.

Any tips would be much appreciated.

I realise that support is closed for the weekend, so I won’t lose my patience.

Hi,

We will fix this in our documentation, sorry about that.

Here is all the sizes of the featured image for each post style, this is for perfect fix, you need to have exactly this or bigger(if bigger will be cropped)

Default style: 640 x any size
Style 1: 300 x 350px
Style 2: 640 x any size
Style 3: 681 x any size
Style 4: 1021 x 580px
Style 5: 1021 x 580px
Style 6: here tahe the full image that you have uploaded and stretch it
Style 7: – no featured image
Style 8: 1021 x 580px
