Im lost on it

I’m from Brazil and have a website with Buddhist teachings. But i do not know much about wordpress. i Bought the theme thinking that would be easy to activate, just needing a couple of adjustments. My current template is Braxton: http://www.budavirtual.com.br but i just cant activate the newspaper theme because the site gets a mess.
Im on specialist on it but I thought i que activates after, it would be a little more organized. My current theme is Braxton, its still on: budavirtual.com.br but I can not activate your theme because I do not know how to edit anything or put things in place.Im really lost.
