I want to add some links with some photos in them, to open pages from professionals.
So limited choice, i take image box:

But there is a darker filter over the photos, How do I make the photo lighter?
And how So, I may be able to change the looks of those old style square photo boxes?
Any suggestions?
Can I use another kind of photo menu?

Please notice that is the default style for our Image Box element. All the available settings of it can be found here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/o7n7xKu5a Also, if you want to make some design changes to this element, you should do it yourself, using a bit of CSS code in order to achieve some good results.

Notice that our theme does not influence the brightness of the original image except Big Grid which has applied a gradient on the thumb, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/FJrlAcD1Rkg Please provide more details about what exactly you add an image on your website and what exactly do you mean? Notice that a better way for adding such an image is using the Text with Title and add the image from Media Library.
