I have installed a Event manager plugin (WP Event Manager by WP Event Manager) but events were showing with the feature image duplicated. I thought it was an issue of the plugin, so I unistalled it and installed a different one. On this case “Events Manager” by Pixelite. The issue happens exactly the same. Please look

Hi, this is because those plugins add the featured image of event, what you can do is to disable the featured image inside article, but this will affect all articles not only those with events – https://i.imgur.com/yTboB36.png

Hi. That is not a viable solution, because I need the feature image on other articles. Is there a way of using a events plugin?

Other solution will be to check the plugin settings and disable the featured image for events and it will be used the one from the theme, and the last solution will be to use a custom css only for events:
– this code will removed the theme featured image for events:
.single-event_listing .td-post-featured-image{
display: none;
}
or
– this image will remove the featured image from event plugin:
.single-event_listing .wpem-single-event-header-top{
display: none;
}
You can use one of the above code, this can be set in the Newsmag > theme panel> Custom code > Custom css.
