Quick question… When you upload a featured image, is it using that image size everywhere for various thumbnails in blocks, modules and mega menu? I’ve noticed specifically that the images used in the mega menu are not resized versions, but full size images.

No. The theme uses different image sizes for on module/blocks/menu.
For old content the image thumbs don’t exist so the original image will be loaded and you need to regenerate thumbnails: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-fix-strange-thumbnails/
I also suggest you empty cache/purge files if you sue any cache plugin or CDN host services.

All of these are new images. I’ve actually only noticed it when using the Mega Menu but only after clicking the “Next” Pagination. That still uses the full size images but resizes them.

Please also try this without any plugins active, leave just Visual Composer active to make sure that is not happening due to other plugins you use, then make sure that you regenerate your thumbnails: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-fix-strange-thumbnails/
After doing this empty cache and check again.
