I have the option GENERAL MODAL IMAGE always active. On a blog post, I added an image via Add Media, I set “Modal Window” to OFF and the property LINK to to a specific URL.
Nevertheless, this is not working. Clicking the image just generates a modal error, redirecting not working.
Is there a way to make redirect work with the general modal image? Cause we kinda need the modal to be default, but for 1-2 images every now and then needs to be disabled (and i set it manually to off)

Sorry but the general modal image will not work with external linked images. ALL your images MUST be linked to the media file if you use that option. The lightbox will not work with external linked images. Sorry,
In this case you will have to disable the general modal image and use the manual lighbox selection for each image in particular.
